Ducks Trade Goalie Deslauriers to Minnesota for Future Considerations

The Ducks have traded goaltender Jeff Deslauriers to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for future considerations.

Deslauriers, 28 (5/15/84), appeared in eight contests for the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL, compiling a 6-8-0-1 record with a 3.25 goals-against average (GAA) and a .902 save percentage (SV%). In addition, Deslauriers appeared in two games with Norfolk of the American Hockey League (AHL) this season, going 1-1-0 with a 3.51 GAA and .889 SV%. He made his season debut on Jan. 20 at Charlotte and earned his first win on Feb. 8 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, stopping 31-of-32 shots for a 4-1 victory.

Signed as a free agent on July 12, 2011, Deslauriers has appeared in 62 career NHL contests with Anaheim and Edmonton, posting a 23-32-4 record with three shutouts, a 3.24 GAA and .901 SV%. He made four appearances with the Ducks last season, going 3-1-0 with a 2.74 GAA and .903 SV%.
