Line combinations were shuffled during the morning skate as the Ducks prepare to conclude their three-game miniseries against the Dallas Stars at Honda Center.

Because Ryan Getzlaf wasn’t on the ice this morning, Saku Koivu took over top-line center duties with Corey Perry and Bobby Ryan as his wingers. Getzlaf suffered a minor lower body injury five minutes into the third period of a 5-2 victory over the Stars on Wednesday night. He left the ice briefly and scored Anaheim’s fourth goal midway through the period, after which he left the game for good as a precautionary move.

“It’s just a game-time decision,” said head coach Bruce Boudreau of Getzlaf’s status tonight. “He decided not to go out [for the morning skate]. He was working out in there, so we’ll see how it is. It’s definitely not a serious thing.

“If he doesn’t feel comfortable today, then he’ll probably play Sunday.”

Goaltender Jonas Hiller also missed the morning skate because of a cold, according to Boudreau. “We told him to stay away right now. He’ll probably be back for backing up tonight.”

Matthew Lombardi, acquired two days ago from Phoenix, skated with Teemu Selanne and Daniel Winnik.

On Getzlaf: “Sometimes you need to listen to the player. You just tell him, ‘Do you feel comfortable playing today or do you feel more comfortable giving it one other day?’ Usually they give you the right decision if you ask the right way.”

If Getzlaf isn’t an option for tonight: “We’ve got Lombardi. He hasn’t played yet. And we have [Steckel] who didn’t play, and [Cogliano] can play the middle. We have the numbers to play.”

Perry – Koivu – Ryan
Selanne – Lombardi – Winnik
Etem – Holland – Palmieri
Cogliano – Steckel – Beleskey

Souray – Beauchemin
Allen - Fowler
Sbisa – Lovejoy
