The Anaheim Ducks today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club’s 2013 preseason schedule. The Ducks will compete in seven preseason contests before the start of the club’s 2013-14 regular season campaign on Oct. 2 at Colorado.
Four of Anaheim’s seven preseason contests will take place at Honda Center. The schedule will commence with a contest at home against Phoenix on Monday, Sept. 16. The club will remain in Anaheim for its next preseason tilt the following night on Tuesday, Sept. 17 vs. Los Angeles. The Ducks will then travel to Colorado for their first exhibition contest vs. the Avalanche since the 1999-00 season (Sept. 18). Another road contest will take place two nights later at SAP Center at San Jose against the Sharks on Friday, Sept. 20. The club will compete in two contests each against Colorado, Los Angeles and San Jose in the preseason, with additional contests taking place on Sept. 22 (vs. Colorado at Honda Center), Sept. 24 (at Los Angeles) and Sept. 28 (vs. San Jose). Individual tickets for preseason games at Honda Center will go on sale on later this summer. Fans can secure seats to all four home preseason contests by becoming a 2013-14 Anaheim Ducks Season Ticket Holder.
