The Athletic Sports Fund of America was established in 1998 in honor of Eric Fedorin, a local hockey player who battled brain cancer. The pregame party will begin at 1:45 p.m., followed by warm-ups at 3:45 p.m. and puck drop at 4 p.m. in a ‘Team Canada’ vs. ‘Team USA’ format. Festivities also include a silent auction, postgame VIP party under the Breakaway Sports Lounge tent outside Anaheim ICE and casino-style gaming. Fans can also help to fundraise by purchasing opportunity drawing tickets, with a free weekend rental of a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
A variety of VIP packages for the 2013 Fedorin Cup and Casino Night celebration are available for purchase through www.ASFAmerica.com. In addition, fans can also bid for an amazing opportunity to play in the hockey game alongside NHL greats in an online auction. Admission to the Fedorin Cup is $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 9-17 (8-and-under are free). Anaheim ICE is located at 300 W. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, CA 92805.
