The Ducks will host the Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic presented by Honda on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Coast. Benefiting the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, the tournament will take place two days in advance of the club’s home opener on Oct. 10 vs. the New York Rangers at Honda Center (7 p.m.). Prior to the shotgun start, the Anaheim Ducks Celebrity Player Draft will take place in which foursomes will have the opportunity to draft their desired Anaheim Ducks player, coach, broadcaster or alumnus to join their group for the day.
Registration for the Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic presented by Honda will take place at 10 a.m. The Pacific Premier Bank Pre-Shotgun Reception will include brunch and a wide selection of silent auction items, including unique Southern California experiences and travel packages, live entertainment and sports memorabilia. The Celebrity Player Draft will be emceed by Ducks television host Kent French, providing a lively environment for foursomes to pick their “fifth” member in the tournament.
A variety of games on the Pelican Hill golf course will take place throughout the day, including a Hole-in-One competition courtesy of Honda. Participants will have the opportunity to drive off in a brand-new Acura RLX on Hole 7. Lunch for all golfers in the tournament is generously being donated by Whole Foods Market Jamboree, Tustin. The day-long event will culminate with a cocktail and awards reception in which the winning foursome will be presented with their own Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic orange crested blazers. A limited amount of foursome and fivesome spaces remain for the tournament.
