In 130 career NHL games, he has earned 4-31=35 points with a +26 rating and 92 PIM. Lovejoy set numerous career highs with Pittsburgh in 2010-11, including goals (3), assists (14), points (17), plus/minus (+11) and games played (47). He has also played 16 career Stanley Cup Playoff games, scoring 0-4=4 points with four PIM.
A native of Concord, New Hampshire, Lovejoy played four seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL) with Norfolk (2006-07) and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (2007-10) after signing his original AHL contract on July 7, 2007. In 218 career AHL games, Lovejoy recorded 18-62=80 points with a +57 rating and 245 PIM between the Admirals and AHL Penguins. He also made appearances in the Calder Cup Playoffs, including a trip to the Calder Cup Final in 2008. Lovejoy appeared in 37 career Calder Cup Playoff games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, scoring 3-11=14 points with a +3 rating and 34 PIM.
