Ducks Announce Preseason Schedule

The Ducks announced today their 2009 preseason schedule, in which they will compete in eight preseason contests before the start of the 2009-10 regular season campaign in October.

The Ducks will open the preseason schedule with games over four consecutive nights, beginning with the 2009 opener on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Honda Center vs. Phoenix (7:05 p.m.). Anaheim’s slate of exhibition games consists of home-and-home series with four Western Conference opponents, including Pacific Division rivals San Jose, Phoenix and Los Angeles, as well as Vancouver of the Northwest Division. Anaheim’s preseason home schedule also features games on Thursday, Sept. 17 vs. Vancouver (7:05 p.m.), Monday, Sept. 21 vs. San Jose (7:05 p.m.) and Sunday, Sept. 27 vs. Los Angeles (5:05 p.m.).

Tickets for Ducks preseason home games will go on sale Saturday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at AnaheimDucks.com. Tickets will also be available by calling Ticketmaster at (714) 703-2545, or in person at the Honda Center box office on a first come, first served basis. The complete NHL regular season schedule is expected to be released later this week with Anaheim 2009-10 regular season home games on sale Saturday, Sept. 12. In addition, 2009-10 Season, Mini Plans, Premium and Group seats are available now in several price ranges by calling 1-877-WILD WING.
