Mighty Ducks to Participate in Third Annual Rookie Tournament

Anaheim, Calif. - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced today the team will play in the Third Annual Rookie Camp at Logitech Ice in San Jose from Sept. 7-11. The four-team round robin schedule includes the Los Angeles Kings, Phoenix Coyotes and San Jose Sharks.

Anaheim opens up the competition against Los Angeles on Sept. 7 before playing San Jose on Sept. 8 and Phoenix on Sept. 10.  The consolation and championship games take place on Sept. 11. 

The majority of each club’s top NHL prospects will be participating in the event, including Anaheim’s 2003 (Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry), 2004 (Ladislav Smid) and 2005 (Bobby Ryan) first round draft picks. The complete game schedule and Mighty Ducks roster follows:
