Mighty Ducks Announce Roster Move
This season, St. Jacques, 25 (8/22/80), has played two games with Portland, scoring 0-1=1 point with 7 penalty minutes. Last season, he played 68 games for the Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL), scoring 2-12=14 points with 60 penalty minutes (PIM). In addition, he played in 11 playoff games, scoring 1-4=5 points with four PIM.
The 6-2, 204-pound native of Montreal, Quebec, has played 66 career NHL games with Carolina and Philadelphia over three seasons, scoring 2-7=9 points with 47 PIM. He made his NHL debut with Philadelphia in 2001-02, going scoreless in seven games with two penalty minutes.
St. Jacques was selected by Philadelphia in the ninth round (253rd overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. He will join the team in Minnesota. The Mighty Ducks now have 23 players on their active roster.
