LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have had little success in Los Angeles of late. Rookie Corey Perry did his best to reverse the trend.

Perry recorded his first multi-goal game and Andy McDonald collected three assists as the Mighty Ducks halted a five-game skid at Los Angeles with a 6-2 triumph over the Kings.

With just one win in their last 13 visits to Staples Center, the Mighty Ducks fell behind early on Saturday as Michael Cammalleri netted a power-play goal 2:07 into the first period. But Anaheim turned on the power thereafter, scoring the next six tallies, including four with the man advantage, to take a commanding lead.

Joffrey Lupul began the onslaught 57 seconds after Cammalleri's goal and Perry put the Mighty Ducks ahead for good nine minutes into the period. Perry set up fellow 2003 first-round pick Ryan Getzlaf for his seventh of the season with 8:07 remaining in the session and Chris Kunitz netted his fifth goal in seven games 54 seconds into the second for a 4-1 bulge.

Perry, who was selected 28th overall in 2003, completed his first three-point performance with a power-play tally at 4:37 before captain Scott Niedermayer concluded the outburst three minutes later on the man advantage.

McDonald recorded his second three-assist effort of the season and Teemu Selanne extended his points streak to 11 games with a pair of assists for Anaheim, which has won four of its last six.

Cammalleri scored both goals for the Kings, who have lost three straight and six of their last eight.
