The Ducks selected center Logan MacMillan of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada with the 19th pick in the first round. MacMillan played for Halifax of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season. MacMillan had 55 points (20 goals and 35 assists) in 68 games with Halifax this season, including 38 in the last 35 games. For more on the Ducks' selection, CLICK HERE.

The Ducks originally had the 16th pick, but traded it to Minnesota for the Wild's 19th pick (1st round) and their 42nd pick (2nd round).

There is no question about how valuable Ducks young stars Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry were in Anaheim's run to the Stanley Cup title. They were taken 19th and 28th overall, respectively, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, one of the most talent-laden Drafts of all time.

*It was the Ducks' option whether they would give the 7th-round pick to Columbus in '07 or '08 in the trade that brought Mark Hartigan and Joe Motzko to the Ducks. The Ducks have decided to give the pick to Columbus this year.

In the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, the Ducks selected defenseman Brian Salcido of Hermosa Beach in the 5th round. Salcido spent last season with the Portland Pirates, the Ducks' AHL affiliate, where he had seven goals and 20 assists in 76 games. Here is a list of
