HOME COMFORTS: Including a 2-1 record this season, the Anaheim Ducks are 48-12-12 in their last 72 regular season games at Honda Center dating back to Nov. 25, 2006...the Ducks have a .680 winning percentage (91-34-33, 215 pts.) over the last 158 home games, earning at least one point in 124 of those 158 contests (19-6-8 in the last 33 home games of 2002-03 season and 19-11-11 in 2003-04)…Anaheim finished the 2006-07 regular season with a home record of 26-6-9, tying the club record for home wins in a season (26-10-5 in 2005-2006)...the Ducks also went 10-2 at home in the 2007 Stanley Cup playoffs, clinching all four series wins at Honda Center.

DID YOU KNOW?: Anaheim’s last two games against Minnesota and Detroit at Honda Center represented just the fifth set of back-to-back home games in franchise history…in 10 back-to-back home games all-time, the Ducks have posted a 6-4-0 record…the last time Anaheim played home games on consecutive nights was in March 2003...on Mar. 12, 2003, the Ducks defeated Chicago, 5-3, and then earned a 3-2 overtime victory over San Jose the next night.

DUCKS MAKE MOVE: Yesterday, the Ducks recalled center Petteri Wirtanen from the Portland Pirates, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL)…Wirtanen, 21 (5/28/86), appeared in five games for Portland this season, going scoreless…last month, Wirtanen played in five preseason games with the Ducks, scoring 2-2=4 points with six penalty minutes (PIM) and a +2 rating…originally selected by Anaheim in the sixth round (172nd overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Wirtanen made his North American professional debut in 2006-07 with Portland.  In 67 games with the Pirates, he recorded 7-11=18 points with 40 PIM.

RARE HAPPENINGS: Sunday's 2-0 loss to Minnesota marked Anaheim's first home shutout in 54 games at Honda Center...the 53-game streak without being shut out at home was the third-longest in team history (92 games, 4/9/95-10/10/97 and 54 games, 3/8/98-10/29/99)...prior to Sunday, the Ducks hadn't been held off the scoreboard at Honda Center since a 2-0 loss, Mar. 1, 2006 vs. Detroit.
