Street Hockey Shootout is a Hit with Kids

In a four-hour event consisting of street hockey mini-games, concessions and music, a double elimination tournament was the featured attraction of the afternoon.
The goal of the tournament was to have the kids put everything they had learned in their two-week S.C.OR.E. street hockey course and challenge other schools in the program to see where they stood. Each team was guaranteed to play a minimum of two games, and all students received an award for their efforts and sportsmanship.

At the conclusion of the festivities, Ducks assistant coach Newell Brown, Ducks TV host Kent French and Wild Wing were all on hand to present awards to the first, second and third place schools. Having won the tournament, Friends Christian also received a championship banner.
