Ducks to Participate in Fedorin Cup
Chris Pronger, Ryan Getzlaf, Todd Marchant, Brad May and Bobby Ryan will appear in the game at Anaheim ICE benefiting the Athletic Sports Fund of America
Ducks Chris Pronger, Ryan Getzlaf, Todd Marchant, Bobby Ryan and Brad May will participate in the 11th annual Fedorin Cup to be held at Anaheim ICE on Saturday, Sept. 6, beginning at 3:45 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Athletic Sports Fund of America.

Fedorin Cup festivities also include both live and silent auctions, a postgame VIP tent party with an exclusive VIP live auction, casino-style gaming and an opportunity drawing. Children attending the event will have the opportunity to visit with Fedorin Cup players between periods to obtain autographs. Ducks mascot Wild Wing is also expected to attend along with the members of the new 2008-09 Ducks Power Player squad.
Co-chaired by Kathy McGarrigle, the Fedorin Cup was established in 1998 when Eric Fedorin, a 36-year-old local hockey player was diagnosed with brain cancer. In his memory, Athletic Sports Fund of America (ASFA) established an educational fund in his daughter’s name. ASFA will also donate a portion of all proceeds to NHL Hockey Fights Cancer and offer grants to athletes in need through the Devin LeCam Scholarship Fund.
Tickets to the 11th annual Fedorin Cup are currently available online at ASFAmerica.com or by calling 714-342-7347. Admission for adults costs $10 and children ages 11-17 is $5 per ticket. Children ages 10-and-under will receive free admission. Packages for the VIP Dinner, live auction and casino tables are also available.
