The Anaheim Ducks Hockey Hideaway is the ultimate lake-side retreat for any child who loves hockey and the great outdoors. The Hockey Hideaway is the perfect place to beat the Southern California heat and escape to a winter wonderland featuring an array of exciting amenities that any child would love.  This season, one child will have this opportunity as the Anaheim Ducks have partnered with John Laing Homes and Urban Arena to build the Hockey Hideaway as part of Project Playhouse, a the unique fundraising event that benefits HomeAid Orange County, a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates shelters for the transitionally homeless in the community.

The Hockey Hideaway is currently on display at Fashion Island in Newport Beach and will be available for purchase at the Project Playhouse Auction Party held October 11th with all proceeds raised benefiting HomeAid Orange County.  Also, Project Playhouse will be holding Ducks Day at Fashion Island on September 21st which will feature special appearances by the Ducks Street Team and Wild Wing. 

Inspired by the Duck's palette the cabin's interior combines rustic charm with a modern twist. Memorabilia including treasured photos of the players as children adorn the hideaway walls. It’s the perfect place to cozy-up by the warm glow of the electric fireplace and watch Anaheim Ducks games on the flat screen television. The Hockey Hideaway includes a loft with Anaheim Ducks sleeping bags so that your children and their friends can have sleepovers.

A cool spot to sit back and relax is on cabin’s wrap-around porch built with Anaheim Ducks game-used hockey sticks. The playhouse also includes a full-sized inflatable outdoor movie theater where your child can view new releases or his/her favorite hockey movies. Grill all of your child’s favorite camp cuisine on the outdoor BBQ. The family’s four-legged friend can enjoy the winter break along with the family in his new custom dog house.
