Ducks Acquire Logan Stephenson

Stephenson, 22 (2/19/86), appeared in 19 contests with the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) this season, collecting 1-1=2 points with 40 penalty minutes (PIM). The 6-3, 205-pound blueliner has played in 70-plus games in each of his last two AHL seasons. In his rookie year with San Antonio in 2006-07, Stephenson collected 3-5=8 points with 90 PIM. His three goals that season were a career high. In 166 career AHL contests, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native has earned 5-13=18 points with 224 PIM. Stephenson also played in seven Calder Cup Playoff contests with San Antonio in 2007-08, registering one assist (0-1=1) with six PIM.
Selected by Phoenix in the second round (35th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Stephenson played in 249 career Western Hockey League (WHL) games from 2002-06, earning 19-66=85 points with 481 PIM. He was named to the WHL Western Conference Second All-Star Team in 2005-06, setting career highs in all major statistical categories. He finished that season ranked tied for third among WHL defensemen in assists (43) and tied for fifth in points (53) and PIM (162). Stephenson also represented Team WHL in both the 2004 and 2005 ADT Canada-Russia Challenges.
Lindstrom, 24 (12/5/83), appeared in 21 games with Iowa this season, sharing the team-lead with 7-14=21 points. Claimed on waivers from Chicago on Oct. 7, the 6-1, 196-pound winger appeared in 25 NHL games with Columbus in 2007-08, scoring 3-4=7 points with 14 PIM. Lindstrom set NHL career highs in all offensive categories in 2007-08, including goals, assists and points. He also appeared in 49 contests in 2007-08 with Syracuse (AHL), scoring 25-35=60 points with 68 PIM.
Selected by Columbus in the second round (41st overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Lindstrom appeared in 37 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets, scoring 4-4=8 points with 18 PIM. In five AHL seasons (197 games), he collected 72-108=180 points with 187 PIM. A native of Skelleftea, Sweden, Lindstrom registered 12-13=25 points with 60 PIM in 133 career games with MoDo in the Swedish Elite League from 2000-05.
