Anaheim Ducks Wing Opens at CHOC

After Ducks Executive Vice President and COO Tim Ryan helped open the ceremony, Caroline Marchant, Ducks forward Todd’s wife, helped unveil a painting on the wall created by the Ducks wives and significant others. Featuring the Ducks “D” logo, the painting is inscribed “From Our Hearts to Yours – Anaheim Lady Ducks 08-09”. With several of his teammates by his side, Todd Marchant then cut the ribbon on the Ducks Wing among the crowd of patients, parents and staff.
Designed for patients on the oncology floor at CHOC, the Ducks wing includes a new playroom/school room, a teen room with a flat screen TV and video games, family lounge, staff lounge and storage space.The wing will also help make it possible for CHOC Children’s to add three new patient rooms designed for adolescent patients in a space formerly occupied by the old

“One of the edicts of management is you’re going to be involved in the community,” Chris Pronger said. “This is what we do here.”
