Calder Signs Pro Tryout Agreement

Unrestricted free agent Kyle Calder has signed a pro tryout agreement with the Ducks. The left wing scored 27 points in 74 games with the Kings last season.
Unrestricted free agent left wing Kyle Calder has signed a pro tryout agreement with the Ducks. Calder appeared in 74 games with the Kings last season, scoring 8-19=27 points (he spent the last two seasons with L.A.). He has appeared in 576 NHL games (beginning in 1999-2000 with Chicago), scoring 114-178=292 points.

Calder remains an unrestricted free agent, but is eligible to participate in all Ducks practices (during training camp) and exhibition games under the pro tryout agreement.
