Ducks Announce TV Schedule
The Ducks announced today the club’s local television schedule for the 2009-10 NHL season. The club will broadcast 66 games locally this season on PRIME TICKET, FOX SPORTS WEST, AND KDOC-TV. PRIME TICKET AND FS WEST will air 50 games, all in high definition. KDOC-TV will broadcast 16 games. In addition, the Kings will broadcast three contests between Anaheim and Los Angeles at Staples Center, bringing the total number of Ducks games airing locally this season to 69. Each of the last 20 Ducks games will be broadcast as part of the television package.

“We are pleased to have strong cable and over-the-air partners with FSN and KDOC-TV,” said Anaheim Ducks Director of Broadcasting Aaron Teats. “Having 50 games available in high-definition on PRIME TICKET/FOX SPORTS WEST this season is great news for hockey fans in Southern California.”

John Ahlers returns as the Ducks television play-by-play voice, having called 400 regular season games since joining the club in 2002. An original member of the team (1993-94), Brian Hayward returns for his 17th year with the Ducks, having called 888 regular season games over that span.

The 2009-10 season marks PRIME TICKET’s 16th as telecast partner with the Anaheim Ducks. In addition to the Ducks, PRIME TICKET is home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Clippers, Chivas USA, Los Angeles Sparks, USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, local high school sports and Big West, and Pac-10 conference competition. PRIME TICKET and its sister network, FS WEST, have been providing local sports coverage to Southern California, Nevada and Hawaii for over 20 years. Together, PRIME TICKET and FS WEST present more live, local sports programming than any other network or broadcast system in the market.

KDOC Los Angeles begins its fifth year as broadcast home of the Anaheim Ducks.  KDOC Los Angeles will be broadcasting 16 live games during the 2009-10 campaign.

KDOC Los Angeles, based in the heart of Orange County, broadcasts to the entire Los Angeles television market of 5.6 million homes, drawing nearly one million viewers per week.  KDOC Los Angeles is dedicated to providing Southern California viewers with a variety of great entertainment, from hit television shows to movies, sports, specials and more.
