Following a lack of improvement with his right foot injury, Ryan Carter had a second x-ray taken. Results revealed a fracture. He will be out approximately four additional weeks.

The 26-year-old center suffered the injury during the pre-game skate at Columbus on Nov. 13. He had previously been hit with a shot in his left foot in the pre-game skate against Dallas on Oct. 21 and missed three games as a result. In 13 games this season, Carter has totaled one goal, two assists and three points while mostly playing on the team's fourth line.
