The Anaheim Ducks announced on Monday that they will host the JSerra Catholic High School Inaugural Thanksgiving Invitational Hockey Tournament at Honda Center and THE RINKS – Anaheim ICE from Nov. 24-27. Admission to the four-day tournament is free to the general public at both venues.

Eight teams will participate in the tournament, including two members of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League: the host JSerra Ice Lions and the Santa Margarita Eagles. The tournament also features teams from the LA Hockey Club, Brophy College Prep (Arizona), Okanagan Hockey Academy (British Columbia), Pursuit of Excellence (British Columbia), St. John’s-Ravenscourt (Manitoba) and St. Paul’s High School (Manitoba).

The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 24 with four games at Anaheim ICE before shifting to Honda Center on Thursday, Nov. 25 for four contests. The 17-game tournament will conclude at Anaheim ICE with four games on Friday, Nov. 26 and five on Saturday, Nov. 27, including the tournament finale Saturday evening (7:15 p.m.).

Anaheim ICE is the Official Training Center of the Anaheim Ducks and an original member of the Anaheim Ducks’ THE RINKS development program. With a program launch in February 2009, the Ducks now operate four local skating facilities consisting of two ice rinks (THE RINK - Anaheim ICE and THE RINKS – Westminster ICE) and two inline facilities (THE RINKS – Huntington Beach Inline and THE RINKS – Corona Inline).
