The Ducks have recalled right wing Dan Sexton, center Nick Bonino and left wing Brandon McMillan from the Syracuse Crunch, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). All three players were reassigned to Syracuse on Monday, Nov. 22.

Sexton, 23 (4/29/87), has appeared in eight games with Anaheim this season, scoring 0-1=1 point with two penalty minutes (PIM) while averaging 12:17 time-on-ice (TOI). He appeared in one contest in his last recall on Nov. 20, collecting his first point of the season (assist) on Saku Koivu’s goal vs. Edmonton on Nov. 21 at Honda Center. He was sidelined for seven games from Oct. 26-Nov. 9 with a broken nose, which was surgically repaired on Oct. 28. Originally assigned to Syracuse on Nov. 10, Sexton collected 2-3=5 points with two PIM in four AHL contests. The Apple Valley, MN native was signed by the Ducks as a free agent on Apr. 7, 2009.

Bonino, 22 (4/20/88), has appeared in 11 games for Anaheim, going scoreless with two PIM while averaging 9:09 TOI. He made his 2010-11 season debut with the Ducks on Nov. 3 vs. Tampa Bay. Originally recalled from Syracuse on Nov. 1, Bonino appeared in eight games for the Crunch this season, collecting 2-7=9 points with 10 PIM. At the time of his initial recall, Bonino led all AHL rookies in assists and ranked tied for second in scoring. The Hartford, CT native recorded points in a season-high six consecutive games (2-7=9) with the Crunch from Oct. 16-30, helping his team to a 4-1-1 record. Selected by San Jose in the sixth round (173rd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Bonino was acquired by Anaheim with Timo Pielmeier in exchange for Kent Huskins and Travis Moen on Mar. 4, 2009.

McMillan, 20 (3/22/90), made his NHL debut on Nov. 21 vs. Edmonton, going scoreless while logging 10:24 TOI. Recalled from Syracuse on Nov. 20, he scored 4-5=6 points with 10 PIM in 16 games for the Crunch. At the time of his original recall, McMillan ranked tied for first among team leaders in appearances and second in shots on goal (35). He had a career-high three-point night (1-2=3) on Nov. 6 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and was named the First Star of the game as part of a 4-3 Crunch victory. A native of Richmond, British Columbia, McMillan was selected by Anaheim in the third round (85th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
