Ducks Notes
The Ducks (29-21-4, 62 pts.) continue a stretch of four straight games on the road against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on Wednesday night (7 p.m. PST, FS West/AM 830)...the Ducks are currently sixth in the Western Conference, three points behind division-leading Dallas (65 points)…Anaheim has gone 5-2-0 in the last seven contests, 8-3-0 in the last 11 and 11-4-0 since the date of captain Ryan Getzlaf's injury (Dec. 28 at Phoenix)...that 11-4-0 record represents a .733 win percentage since Dec. 28, ranking second in the NHL...in addition, the club has gone 16-8-1 over the last 25 contests...Anaheim's current record is seven points ahead of last year's pace through 54 games (24-23-7, 55 pts. in 2009-10)...since the 2005-06 season, the team has a 126-70-22 combined record (274 pts., .628 win%) over the final 41 games of each season (9-4-0 this year)...on the road, Anaheim has won three straight and four of its last five (4-1-0)...the Ducks are also 8-2-0 in their last 10 home games dating to Dec. 10 vs. Calgary...following Wednesday’s contest, the Ducks will travel to Alberta for games in Calgary (Feb. 11) and Edmonton (Feb. 13).

Perry
STAR PERFORMANCE: Corey Perry was named the Third Star of the Week for Jan. 31-Feb. 6 after collecting 3-2=5 points in two games against San Jose and Colorado...Perry had two assists in a 4-3 loss to the Sharks on Feb. 2 and recorded his second career hat trick in a 3-0 win in Denver on Feb. 5..Perry became the first player in Ducks history to score ALL three of his team's goals in a win…there were three previous occasions when a Ducks player scored all three Anaheim goals in a game, but never in a win (Kariya, 1/23/97 @ PHX - 6-3 loss; Selanne, 10/26/97 @ NYR - 3-3 tie & Ryan, 1/8/09 @ LA - 4-3 loss)…Perry also became the first player in team history to record a hat trick while scoring every goal in a shutout victory, making him just the fourth player to accomplish the feat in an NHL game over the last six seasons (also PHI's Mike Knuble, Feb. 2, 2008; BUF's Thomas Vanek, Apr. 5, 2008; CBJ's Rick Nash, Nov. 2010; all in 3-0 wins)...Perry leads the Ducks with 28-28=56 points (also in goals) this season and ranks tied for seventh in the NHL in scoring, tied for fourth in goals and PPG (10) and 11th in points-per-game (1.04).

SCORING BALANCE: The Ducks are one of four NHL teams to have five-or-more players with 35+ points this season (Perry, Selanne, Visnovsky, Ryan, Getzlaf). The others are Dallas (five players), Philadelphia (five) and San Jose (six).

Fowler
RARE ROOKIE FEAT: Defenseman Cam Fowler has a four-game point streak (3-1=4)…he scored a PPG in three consecutive games (3-0=3) from Jan 22-Feb. 2, making him just the second rookie defenseman in NHL history (and also the youngest) to record a PPG in three straight…the only other rookie defenseman in league history to do so was VAN’s Michel Petit (1/17-1/20/84)…Fowler, 19, is the first NHL defenseman under age 20 with goals in three straight since Kevin Hatcher (19 yrs) of WSH did so from 3/28-4/1/86…the last NHL rookie defenseman of any age to score a goal in three straight games was Dennis Wideman of STL (1/17-1/20/06)…Fowler is the first Ducks rookie defenseman to accomplish the feat...he currently leads all NHL rookie defensemen in scoring and assists, and ranks second in goals (6-22=28)...he also ranks second among NHL rookies in assists, leads in average TOI (22:28), and ranks tied for fifth in overall rookie scoring. 

SPECIAL TEAMS: Over the last 11 games, the Ducks are 15-for-38 on the power play (39.5%)...the club's 24.0% power play conversion rate (44-for-183) in 2010-11 ranks third in the NHL...in addition, Anaheim is second in home power play (25-for-96, 26.0%) and ranks fifth on the road (19-for-87, 21.8%)...on the penalty kill, the Ducks have killed 44-of-50 (88.0%) power play attempts since the third period of the Dec. 28 game at Phoenix (spanning 15 games).

Hiller
HILLER STANDS TALL: Jonas Hiller has compiled a .934 SV% (394-of-422) and a 2.33 GAA (28 GA/721 MIN) over his last 14 games (9-3-0)...among NHL goaltenders, Hiller ranks tied for second in wins (25-16-3), second in appearances (47), first in saves (1,361), tied for sixth in SV% (.925), and tied for sixth in shutouts (4)...over his last 24 games, Hiller has gone 14-6-1 with a 2.17 GAA (45 GA/1244 MIN) and .937 SV% (673-of-718)...during that stretch, he had a 178:34-minute scoreless streak spanning four games from Jan. 5-12...in the shootout, Hiller has denied 11 consecutive attempts and 21 of 22 since Dec. 7...among NHL goaltenders in shootouts, he ranks fifth in shots against (26), tied for fourth in wins (4), and fifth in SV% (.846; min. 10 attempts).

Visnovsky
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Bobby Ryan has reached the 20-goal plateau (23-18=41) for the third consecutive season and ranks tied for 11th in the NHL in goals...Lubomir Visnovsky, who has points in three of the last five games (0-4=4), is on pace for a 66-point season, which would fall one shy of his career high set in 2005-06...he is third among NHL defensemen in scoring and second in assists...in addition, Teemu Selanne's 10 PPG rank tied for fourth in the NHL while his 1.02 points-per-game average ranks tied for 10th in the NHL.

Lydman
POSITIVE EFFORT: Toni Lydman ranks tied for second in the NHL in plus/minus (+25) this season...he has earned a career-tying +3 rating on five occasions and has been a plus-or-even in 44 of his 50 appearances this season...Lydman ranks fourth in the NHL with 128 blocked shots, leading a Ducks team that ranks seventh in the NHL and first in the Western Conference with 824 blocks...Lydman is on pace for a career-high 31-point season.

CLIMBING THE CHARTS: Teemu Selanne is one of 18 players in NHL history to score 600 goals and one of only three Europeans, following Jaromir Jagr (CZE) and Jari Kurri (FIN)...Selanne ranks 15th in all-time goals, 32nd in points (currently 621-685=1,306) and

ninth in PPG (230)...Selanne reached the 1,300-point milestone on Jan. 16 vs. Edmonton, becoming the 32nd NHL player to accomplish the feat... with his 684th assist on Jan. 25 at Columbus, he surpassed Brad Park for sole possession of 54th place in all-time NHL assists...Selanne is only three assists shy of tying Henri Richard for 53rd place and also one goal shy of 100 career game-winning goals...only five players have recorded 100 career GWG, including Gordie Howe (121), Phil Esposito (118), Jagr (112), Brett Hull (110) and Brendan Shanahan (109).
