Jacques Reassigned to Syracuse

The Anaheim Ducks made the following roster move on Thursday morning:

Assigned to Syracuse (American Hockey League):
Jean-Francois Jacques – Left wing

Anaheim now has 28 players remaining on its 2011 Training Camp Roster – 15 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goaltenders.

This past Tuesday, Jacques was suspended for the rest of the preseason and five regular season games. It came as a result of him leaving the bench on a legal line change for the purpose of starting a fight with Vancouver Canucks forward Mike Duco during a preseason game on Sept. 24.
