Ducks Recall Guenin, Jacques from Syracuse

Guenin, 28 (12/10/82), has appeared in two contests with Anaheim this season, scoring a goal (1-0=1) with two penalty minutes (PIM) and a +1 rating. Guenin scored his first career NHL goal as part of his Anaheim debut on Oct. 7 at Buffalo in Helsinki, Finland. The Sewickley, PA native played 10 games for Syracuse this year, collecting 0-2=2 points with a +1 rating and 10 PIM.
Originally selected by the New York Rangers in the third round (127th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Guenin has appeared in 19 career NHL games with Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Columbus and Anaheim, scoring 1-2=3 points with 10 PIM. He made his NHL debut with Philadelphia on Jan. 18, 2007 vs. the New York Islanders.
Jacques, 26 (4/29/85), appeared in 10 contests with Syracuse this season, collecting 4-4=8 points with a +2 rating and 15 PIM. At the time of his recall, the 6-4, 220-pound winger ranked tied for fifth on the Crunch in scoring, earning 4-3=7 points in his last six AHL contests.
Selected by Edmonton in the second round (68th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Jacques has scored 9-8=17 points with 185 PIM in 160 career NHL games with the Oilers. He made his professional debut with the Edmonton Roadrunners (AHL) in 2004-05 and has since appeared in 159 career AHL games, earning 50-58=108 points with 295 PIM.
