Ducks Welcome Holiday Season with Upcoming Community Events
The Ducks are set to host a variety of activities, fundraisers and donation drives throughout the community this holiday season:

ANAHEIM DUCKS TOY DRIVE:
The Ducks will collect new, unwrapped toys at each of the club’s home games through December 14 beginning tonight (Dec. 2) vs. Philadelphia (7:05 p.m.). The club has partnered with the Anaheim Fire Department, U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots and the 19th annual Spark of Love Toy Drive for the cause. Members of the Fire Department, Marine Corps and Lady Ducks (wives and significant others of players, coaches, broadcasters and management) will be on hand to collect toys outside each entrance of Honda Center prior to all four home games (also Sunday, Dec. 4 vs. Minnesota, Tuesday, Dec. 6 vs. Los Angeles and Wednesday, Dec. 14 vs. Phoenix). Each person who donates a toy will receive a raffle ticket to win a 2011-12 autographed Ducks stick, with one awarded at each game. Honda Center will also serve as the site of the annual “Stuff-A-Bus” event in the parking lot on the south side of the building on Friday, Dec. 16 with ABC 7 meteorologist Garth Kemp. Additional toy drives will take place at THE RINKS – Anaheim ICE on Monday, Dec. 12 and at an Anaheim Ducks Watch Party on Dec. 19 (see more information below).

DUCKS TREAT LOCAL YOUTH TO HOLIDAY SHOPPING SPREE: Ducks players Dan Ellis and Sheldon Brookbank and their wives will take six students from The Wooden Floor on a holiday shopping spree at Wal-Mart Foothill Ranch this Saturday, Dec. 3 from 1:30-3 p.m. The Wooden Floor, previously known as Saint Joseph Ballet, is one of the nation’s most innovative after school programs for low-income youth. The Santa Ana-based nonprofit has delivered hope and opportunity to nearly 375 low-income youth annually for 28 years. Since 2005, 100 percent of students from The Wooden Floor have graduated high school on time and enrolled in college.

HOLIDAY VISIT TO CHOC CHILDREN’S:
On Monday, Dec. 12, members of the Anaheim Ducks will visit CHOC Children’s in Orange at approximately 1 p.m. Players will make room-to-room visits and participate in playroom activities in an effort to brighten the season for patients receiving care during the holidays at CHOC. In addition, Ducks players will personally deliver Wild Wingers Kids Club kits to CHOC patients during their visit. For the sixth consecutive year, fans have the opportunity to donate Kids Club kits ($25 each) to CHOC patients as part of the Kits for Kids Donation Drive. To donate, please visit AnaheimDucks.com/CHOC. A Kids Club kit contains Ducks-branded items, discounts to local shops and attractions, and tickets to team parties.

HOLIDAY SKATE & TOY DRIVE AT THE RINKS – ANAHEIM ICE:
Also on Monday, Dec. 12, the Ducks will host a toy drive at THE RINKS – Anaheim ICE. A free public skate between 3:30-5:30 p.m. will be awarded to those who bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Anaheim Ducks Toy Drive. Along with admission to the holiday skate, each person who donates a toy will receive a 2-for-1 public skating pass for future use, and be entered to win a team-autographed stick. Two players from the current Ducks roster will be at Anaheim ICE to accept toys and sign autographs from 5-6 p.m. Mascot Wild Wing will make an appearance and the Anaheim Ducks Street Team will host street hockey in the parking lot and hand out free Ducks promotional items. Anaheim ICE is located at 300 W. Lincoln Ave.

WATCH PARTY & TOY DRIVE AT ULTRALUXE CINEMAS: On Monday, Dec. 19, the Ducks will be hosting an Official Watch Party at UltraLuxe Cinemas at Anaheim GardenWalk for the club’s contest at Dallas Stars (5:30 p.m. PST). The Anaheim Ducks Street Team will be collecting toys from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and each fan that donates will receive an Anaheim Ducks t-shirt and be entered to win a team-autographed stick. Additional Watch Party details can be found at www.AnaheimDucks.com/WatchParties.
