The Ducks have reassigned right wing Kyle Palmieri and defenseman Kyle Cumiskey to the Syracuse Crunch, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).| Palmieri |
Selected by Anaheim in the first round (26th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Palmieri made his NHL debut with the Ducks last season. At 19 years, nine months and two days, Palmieri was then the fifth-youngest player in club history to appear in a game on Nov. 3, 2010 vs. Tampa Bay. The 5-11, 196-pound winger has appeared in 20 career NHL games with Anaheim, collecting 2-1=3 points with two PIM.

In 2010-11, Cumiskey appeared in 18 contests with Colorado, earning 1-7=8 points with 10 PIM. The 5-10, 185-pound blueliner appeared in a career-high 61 contests with the Avalanche in 2009-10, earning 7-13=20 points. Cumiskey led team defensemen in goals that season, notching a career-high two goals on Jan. 18, 2010 vs. Edmonton. In 132 career NHL contests, Cumiskey has collected 9-26=35 points with 48 PIM.
