Ducks Recall Tarkki from Syracuse

Tarkki, 26 (7/1/85), has appeared in one game with the Ducks this season, stopping 7-of-10 shots in relief (41 minutes) in a 7-4 win on Jan. 8 vs. Columbus. He has also played in 28 games with Syracuse, posting a 10-13-3 record with a 2.85 goals-against average (GAA) and .914 save percentage (SV%).
A native of Rauma, Finland, Tarkki was signed by Anaheim as a free agent on May 6, 2011. He spent last season with Espoo of the Finnish Elite League, going 20-20-14 with a 2.09 GAA and .924 SV%.
Deslauriers, 27 (5/15/84), played in one game with Anaheim this year, stopping 26-of-28 shots in a 5-2 win on Jan. 12 vs. Dallas. A native of St. Jean-Richelieu, Quebec, Deslauriers has appeared in 14 games with Syracuse this season, posting a 6-7-0 record with a 3.86 GAA and .877 SV%.
Signed as a free agent by Anaheim on July 12, 2011, Deslauriers spent the 2009-10 NHL season with the Edmonton Oilers, posting a 16-28-4 record while compiling a 3.26 GAA and .901 SV%. Selected by Edmonton in the second round (31st overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Deslauriers appeared in 58 career NHL contests with the Oilers, posting a 3.27 GAA, .901 SV%, and three shutouts.
