Ducks to Celebrate "Stampede Day" This Friday vs. Flames
Fans are Invited to Experience an Albertan Tradition at the “Stampede Tent,” Which will Open at 5 p.m. and Re-Open Following the Game

This Friday, March 2, the Ducks will celebrate “Stampede Day” at Honda Center, presented by Travel Alberta. The club will face the Calgary Flames that evening, a contest that begins at 7:05 p.m. The “Stampede Tent” will open at 5 p.m. for all ticketed fans in the Honda Center parking lot (North side of the building) and remain open until game time, re-opening following the conclusion of the contest (approx. 9:30-11 p.m.). Celebrating the Stampede’s centennial anniversary, the Ducks and Travel Alberta will offer a small taste of “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth,” taking place from July 6-15, 2012 in Calgary. A variety of food, beverage, live music, fun and games awaits fans attending Friday’s game.
Replicating the Calgary Stampede’s rodeo roots, the Stampede Tent will feature a mechanical bull and live music by country artist Jason Greeley, a top-four finalist from “Canadian Idol,” season two (2004). Los Angeles-based Go Country (105.1 FM) will be on site from 2-7 p.m. as deejay Paul Freeman broadcasts live from Honda Center. Go Country will also lead Line Dancing inside of the Stampede Tent. Honda Center’s Outlaws Smokehouse will cook up fresh barbeque, with a variety of food and drink available for purchase inside the Stampede Tent. In addition, the 2012 Calgary Stampede Queen & Princesses are set to appear in the tent. Fans can also play a variety of games such as “Skeeball” and “Whack-a-Mole” inside the Stampede Tent.
The first 50 fans to enter the Stampede Tent on Friday will receive a genuine Calgary Stampede hat. Five of the 50 hats (passed out at random) will be autographed by an Anaheim Ducks player. A four-night trip to the Calgary Stampede in July courtesy of Travel Alberta will also be awarded to one lucky fan that enters in the drawing at the Stampede Tent between 5-7 p.m.

As part of the club’s “No Surprise Fees” policy introduced at the start of the 2011-12 NHL season, fans purchasing tickets direct from the Anaheim Ducks (AnaheimDucks.com, Ticketmaster or Honda Center Box Office) will pay the identical price regardless of purchase point.
