Ducks Announce 2012-13 Schedule
The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced the complete regular season schedule for the 2012-13 campaign. The Anaheim Ducks will open their season on Friday, Oct. 12 at Honda Center against Pacific Division rival San Jose (7:05 p.m). Anaheim’s season opener kicks off a four-game homestand that also features visits from Dallas (Oct. 14), Carolina (Oct. 17) and Edmonton (Oct. 19).
 
Highlights from the home schedule include visits from Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, Jan. 11 (7:05 p.m.), Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals on Wednesday, Feb. 13 (7:05 p.m.), Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday, Nov. 16 (7:05 p.m.) and the Winnipeg Jets’ return to Honda Center on Sunday, Feb. 24 (5:05 p.m.). The Ducks will also host the Chicago Blackhawks for their annual day-after Thanksgiving game on Friday, Nov. 23 (1:05 p.m.) and the Colorado Avalanche for the third consecutive New Year’s Eve game at Honda Center on Monday, Dec. 31 (5:05 p.m.). The Ducks will play home and road games versus Tampa Bay, Carolina and the New York Islanders, and take on every other Eastern Conference team once. Other Eastern Conference teams to visit Anaheim in 2012-13 include Buffalo (Nov. 11), Florida (Dec. 5) and New Jersey (Mar. 29). Anaheim will also host its Southern California rival, the Los Angeles Kings, on Sunday, Nov. 18 (5:05 p.m.), Wednesday, Jan. 2 (7:05 p.m.) and Wednesday, Mar. 6 (7:35 p.m.).

Full Schedule for the 2012-13 Anaheim Ducks
 
Anaheim’s 2012-13 regular season schedule includes 82 games in total, 41 at Honda Center and 41 on the road. For the fifth consecutive season, the Ducks will play six games against Pacific Division opponents (24 games total), four games against each non-divisional Western Conference team (40 games), and 18 contests against Eastern Conference opponents. Anaheim will play each NHL team at least once in 2012-13.
 
The Ducks will host 24 weekend dates in 2012-13, including 13 Friday contests and 11 Sunday contests. March will serve as the busiest month of the season at Honda Center with nine games scheduled. In addition, there are five home games slated for October, seven for November and January, six for December, four for February, and three for April. Anaheim’s longest homestand is a six-game stretch at Honda Center scheduled for Nov. 7-18, while the club will have four five-game road trips from Oct. 25-Nov. 4, Nov. 24-Dec. 2, Dec. 16-23 and Feb. 15-22.  In addition, the Ducks will compete in 13 sets of back-to-back games this season, one more than 2011-12.
 
Individual regular season tickets for all Ducks games at Honda Center will go on sale in September. Fans can secure seats now by becoming a 2012-13 Anaheim Ducks Season Ticket Holder.
