The Ducks announced today the club’s local television schedule for the 2012-13 National Hockey League (NHL) regular season. All 48 regular season games will be televised locally, beginning with this Saturday’s season opener at Vancouver (coverage begins with “Ducks Live” at 6:30 p.m.) on FOX Sports West. Prime Ticket (28), FOX Sports West (14) and LA 56 KDOC-TV (5) will serve as local broadcast partners of the Ducks, while NBC Sports Network is scheduled to televise the club’s season finale on Saturday, Apr. 27 vs. Phoenix to a national audience. In addition, all contests airing on FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket (both home and road contests) will include “Ducks Live” pre-game and post-game Shows.

All telecasts on Prime Ticket and FOX Sports West feature Brian Hayward in his 20th season as color analyst and John Ahlers in his 11th season as play-by-play announcer. Making his Ducks debut, Mark Rogondino will rotate with Kent French throughout the season to deliver rinkside reports and interviews.

Prime Ticket will also debut the new “Ducks Live” pre-game show prior to all home and road games. Hosted by Rogondino and French, Hayward provides expert analysis and interviews during the half-hour program. The “Ducks Live” post-game show also returns following all home and road telecasts, delivering unique insight and access to players and coaches.

Rogondino will host the “Ducks Live: Season Preview Special” tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 16) at 10 p.m. on Prime Ticket. The half-hour original program debut will feature Head Coach Bruce Boudreau in a one-on-one interview with Hayward, followed by in-depth discussions about the Ducks earning their way back into the playoffs.

The 2012-13 season marks PRIME TICKET’s 20th as telecast partner with the Anaheim Ducks. In addition to the Ducks, PRIME TICKET is the local destination of the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Club Deportivo ChivasUSA, USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, CIF Southern Section high school athletics, Big West and Pac-12 conference competition. Together, Prime Ticket and sister network FOX Sports West present more live, local sports programming than any other network or broadcast system in the market, producing over 800 live sporting events including 2,500 hours of live and original programming every year.
