Fowler Placed on Injured Reserve

Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler has been placed on Injured Reserve with an upper body injury. Fowler's placement on IR is retroactive to last Saturday, February 2, and by rule he is not available to play for seven days. 

Fowler left Saturday night's 7-4 victory over the Kings early in the second period when he was run into the boards by LA forward Jarret Stoll. There was no penalty on the play and no supplemental discipline on Stoll.

The 21-year-old Fowler has a point and a plus-two rating in six games this season. He has not played since leaving the game vs. LA.
