Ducks Recall Etem from Norfolk
Etem, 20 (6/16/92), became the 13th born-and-trained Southern California player to appear in an NHL game with his debut on Jan. 29 at San Jose. The Long Beach, CA native has appeared in eight games for the Ducks this season, collecting 0-2=2 points with a +1 rating and two penalty minutes (PIM). Selected in the first round (29th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Etem scored 13-3=16 points with 12 PIM in 45 games with Norfolk this season. The 6-1, 210-pound wing was named to the AHL Eastern Conference All-Star team on Jan. 23.
Holland, 22 (1/14/91), appeared in five games with the Ducks this season, registering one goal (1-0=1) with an even plus/minus rating and four PIM. Holland scored his first goal of the season and second of his career in a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Feb. 18 at Honda Center. In 39 games with Norfolk this season, Holland has collected 16-19=35 points with 58 PIM. He returns to the Admirals leading the club in scoring and goals, and ranking second in assists. The 6-2, 192-pound center was named to the AHL Eastern Conference All-Star team on Jan. 17, but did not make an appearance in the game due to his first recall to Anaheim.
