The Ducks will raise funds and awareness for Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC Children’s) by hosting CHOC Night this Sunday, Mar. 10 when the club faces the St. Louis Blues at Honda Center (5 p.m.). Ducks fans are invited to participate in CHOC Night in a variety of ways, including a silent auction with Ducks memorabilia and a ‘text to donate’ campaign.

Sunday’s CHOC Night celebrates a seven-year partnership between the Anaheim Ducks and CHOC Children’s. Fans attending or watching Sunday’s FOX Sports West telecast can donate to CHOC Children’s in a number of ways. By texting “CHOC” to “90999,” a $5 donation will be made to the hospital. In addition, Pepsi will make contributions on texting donations throughout the evening. Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items at Section 214, including aTeemu Selanne package of autographed memorabilia and a basket of player-autographed “Choco Bears.” At Section 212, fans can purchase raffle tickets in order to win a player-autographed Anaheim Ducks-CHOC Children’s co-branded t-shirt. Pacific Dental is also recognizing CHOC Night by making a monetary donation to CHOC Children’s for every Ducks goal scored in Sunday’s contest vs. the Blues.

CHOC Children’s President of Medical Staff, David Gibbs, M.D. will be featured on both the Ducks television and radio broadcasts, highlighting the exceptional pediatric care that CHOC Children’s provides. During the game, CHOC patients and staff will have the opportunity to be a part of in-game elements such as riding the Zamboni and Honorary Duck. CHOC Children’s interstitials and signage will also be prevalent in-game on HondaVision’s center ice screens, as well as on StadiumVision screens throughout the concourses on all three Honda Center levels.
