The Ducks will raise funds for the Anaheim Ducks Foundation for the remainder of the 2012-13 season through the club’s larger-than-life Piggy Bank, “Puck Chop,” presented by Honda. Receiving its moniker via fan vote earlier this season, “Puck Chop” currently resides on Honda Center’s plaza concourse near Section 212. In addition to on-site monetary donations, fans are encouraged to donate through a text-to-donate campaign. In addition, American Honda will donate $500 at every home game through a recently-introduced Noise Meter Contest, prompting fans to cheer for their support of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.

Through the text-to-donate campaign, fans are able to make a $10 donation by texting “HONDA” to 55333. The $10 text donation serves as automatic entry for fans to win weekly Anaheim Ducks prizes such as an autographed hat, photograph or puck. Three grand-prize winners will receive four tickets in the American Honda suite and a parking pass to attend the Ducks home game on Apr. 17 vs. Columbus. Grand-prize winners will be announced on Apr. 5 vs. Dallas, with weekly prizes to be awarded throughout the end of the season.

Ducks fans can also purchase their very own replica piggy banks at the Anaheim Ducks Team Store, on sale throughout the season. A replica piggy bank costs $30, with $10 of each purchase directly benefiting the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.
