Cogliano, 25 (6/14/87), has scored 12-10=22 points with a +14 rating and four penalty minutes (PIM) in 46 contests. The Toronto, Ontario native has not missed a single contest in his six-year career, having appeared in 456 consecutive games since his 2007-08 NHL debut. The streak ranks third on the NHL’s active iron man list, behind just St. Louis’ Jay Bouwmeester (633) and Vancouver’s Henrik Sedin (627).
Cogliano’s current .48 points-per-game average is the second-highest of his career (.55 in 2007-08), while his .26 goals-per-game average is the highest of his career. Among team leaders, Cogliano’s 12 goals rank third, while his career-best +14 rating ranks tied for third with Ryan Getzlaf. In addition, his +15 mark on the road ranks fourth overall in the NHL. Cogliano is also a two-time gold-medal winner at the IIHF World Junior Championship, representing Team Canada at the 2006 World Juniors in Vancouver and the 2007 tournament in Sweden.
