Season Overview
Andrew Cogliano skated in his sixth NHL season, his second with the Ducks. The speedy winger played a prominent role on Anaheim’s third line, alongside veteran forwards Saku Koivu and Daniel Winnik.

Cogliano collected 13 goals, 10 assists and 23 points with a career-high +14 rating in 48 games, and finished the season ranked third on the club in goals and tied for third in plus/minus. Among league leaders, he ranked tied for third in road plus/minus (+16).

Cogliano Video Highlights

His .48 points-per-game average was the second-highest of his career (.55 in 2007-08), while his .27 goals-per-game average was his best.

Cogliano appeared in his first postseason, earning an assist in a seven-game series defeat against the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Highlight
Cogliano scored one of the bigger goals of the Ducks season on February 12 in Chicago, when he tied the game with just 2:40 remaining in regulation, punching in a one-timer shortly after losing his helmet. The Ducks would go on to win in a shootout over a Blackhawks team that had started the season on a 10-0-2 tear.

Cogliano’s goal-scoring prowess against the Phoenix Coyotes carried over into the 2012-13 season, when he earned his second career hat trick on March 2 at Jobing.com Arena. After getting the Ducks on the board just 21 seconds into the game, Cogliano netted his second- and third goals in the second period of an eventual 5-4 shootout loss.

His career first hat trick also came against the Coyotes on January 31, 2012 in Phoenix, as a member of the Ducks.

By the Numbers
458, consecutive games Cogliano has played since he entered the league in 2007. The 25-year-old has never missed a game in his six seasons with Edmonton and Anaheim, the third-longest active streak in the NHL.

Looking Forward
Cogliano is poised for another impact season after matching his goal output from 2011-12 in 34 fewer games. He also figures to play a key role on Anaheim’s penalty kill, where he and PK linemate Emerson Etem found success this season.

Personal
Cogliano spends the offseason in his hometown of Woodbridge, Ontario, and resides in Newport Beach during the hockey season. Lists The Cannery in Newport Beach as his favorite local restaurant, and cites City and Colour, Pearl Jam and Bob Dylan as his favorite artists. He also enjoys surfing, a recent hobby he’s taken up.

He Said It
On playing in his first postseason: “It was unbelievable. Just the atmosphere and the intensity of the game are just on another level. I never experienced that before. You just feel like every play out there means something. It’s just magnified that much more. It’s a good feeling.”
