Ducks to be Featured on Upcoming NHL Revealed™ Series Beginning January 22
The Seven-Part Series on NBC Sports Network Will Chronicle the Ducks as One of Nine NHL Clubs Before and After Participation in the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™, 2014 Olympic Winter Games and Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™
The seven-part NHL Revealed™ series will air on NBCSN in the U.S. on Jan. 22, Jan. 29, Feb. 5, Feb. 27 (two hours), Mar. 5 and Mar. 12. It will also air in Canada on CBC (Jan. 23, Jan. 30, Feb. 6, Feb. 27, Mar. 6 and Mar. 13) and Sportsnet (Jan. 26, Feb. 2, Feb. 23, Mar. 2, Mar. 9 and Mar. 16). The up-close, all-access series is being produced by Toronto-based Bristow Global Media Inc. and its principal, Julie Bristow with Ross Greenburg as an executive producer on behalf of the NHL. Bristow is a former executive at CBC whose duties included overseeing production of CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada and creating and producing other top CBC programming. Greenburg, the former HBO Sports President and winner of more than 50 Sports Emmys, served as executive producer of HBO’s initial “24/7: Road to the NHL Winter Classic.”
The 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ games begin with the Ducks facing the Kings at iconic Dodger Stadium on Jan. 25, 2014 (6:30 p.m. PST, NBCSN). Stadium Series™ games follow at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 26 (Rangers vs. Devils) and Wednesday, Jan. 29 (Rangers vs. Islanders). Following the NHL’s participation in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ resumes at Soldier Field on Saturday, Mar. 1 (Blackhawks vs. Penguins). The 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ wraps up the signature events featured on NHL Revealed™ on Mar. 2 in Vancouver, B.C. (Canucks vs. Senators).
NHL Revealed™ will follow the Ducks for over two months as the production’s cameras take fans to places they have never seen before. The Ducks and Kings participation in the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ at Dodger Stadium on Jan. 25 marks the first-ever California outdoor NHL game and the first time a regular season contest will be played outdoors in the United States, West of the Mississippi River. Tickets for the contest go on sale to the general public tomorrow (Nov. 19) at 10 a.m. PST and can be purchased via AnaheimDucks.com and Ticketmaster.com, the official ticket marketplace of the NHL.
