The Ducks will host their annual Casino Night presented by The Klein Family this Friday, Dec. 13 (tomorrow) at Servite High School (Anaheim). Entitled “High School Prom,” the evening will appropriately take place inside Servite’s gymnasium. The entire Anaheim Ducks roster, coaches, management and broadcasters will join in the festivities, dressing to the theme (any decade) and mingling with guests. Benefiting the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, 100% of the proceeds from Casino Night will support the Orangewood Children’s Foundation. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the VIP Varsity Club (general admission at 7 p.m.).

Guests will be entertained by Ducks players who will serve as guest dealers at the blackjack, craps and roulette tables on the gym floor. In addition, guests can enjoy live music from 80s cover band, “NeOn NaTiOn,” cocktails such as “spiked punch” and cuisine throughout the evening. Sticking with true “High School Prom” tradition, guests will have the opportunity to have their prom photos taken.

A variety of silent auction items and opportunity drawings will be available throughout the evening. Silent auction items include weekend excursions to exciting destinations, “Dinner for a Year” (12 different restaurants equating to one dinner a month for one year) and a Mardo evening bag covered in semi-precious stones ($2,500 value). “Ducks Bucks” will serve as the currency of the evening, as guests can exchange “Ducks Bucks” for chips at gambling tables or purchase opportunity drawing tickets for the chance to be crowned Queen of the Casino Night Prom alongside a Ducks player to be voted as King, or win a variety of prizes including a custom Anaheim Ducks-themed Pedego Electric Bike, $500 gift certificate to South Coast Plaza and more.

Anaheim Ducks Casino Night is sold-out. VIP Varsity Club tickets were sold for $500, while general admission tickets were $100 each.

ABOUT ORANGEWOOD CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION
The mission of Orangewood Children’s Foundation is to provide life-changing prevention and intervention programs for abused and neglected children, young adults and at-risk families through one-on-one support and community partnerships to end the cycle of child abuse. Our programs focus on education, employment, housing, life skills and basic needs. A significant key to our success is the hard work and support of our 44 Women for Children auxiliary. Founded in 1999 by Susan Samueli, 44 Women for Children focuses on nurturing, supporting and inspiring adolescents emancipating from the foster care system on their 18th birthdays. The auxiliary hosts annual fundraising events to support Orangewood’s college scholarship and Peer Mentor programs. Since 1999, 44 Women for Children has raised over $2.6 million for the Foundation.
