The Anaheim Ducks (31-8-5, first in NHL) host the Boston Bruins (28-12-2, second in the East) tomorrow night at Honda Center.

-The Ducks are now 31-8-5 (67 points), the best mark in club history through 44 games (previously 29-9-6 for 64 points in 2006-07)...the Ducks have won 13 of their last 14 games (13-1-0) for the first time in club history…the club also has points in 16 of the last 17 games (14-1-2), is 11-1-2 vs. the Pacific Division and a league-leading 17-3-2 (.818 points %) vs. the Western Conference.

-The Ducks are 17-0-2 at Honda Center this season, marking the best home start and longest home point streak (previous: 10-0-4, Feb. 12-Apr. 9, 1997) in club history...Anaheim is the fifth team in 40 NHL seasons (since 1973-74) to record points in each of its first 19-plus home games of a season...the club joins Philadelphia (19-0-7, 1979-80), New York Islanders (19-0-4, 1978-79), San Jose (20-0-2, 2008-09) and Boston (19-0-2, 1973-74) in that category...Anaheim is the only club in the NHL that has not lost in regulation at home this season...the Ducks set a club record with eight straight home wins to open a season and was the last NHL team to lose at home in 2013-14 (Nov. 20 OTL vs. NJ)...at home, Anaheim has outscored the opposition, 74-36 (excluding two SO goals).

-In addition to their 19-game home unbeaten streak, the Ducks have won seven straight games at Honda Center. That marks the club’s second home win streak of seven games or-more this season (also had an eight-game streak, Oct. 10 – Nov. 10)…the last team to record two separate HOME winning streaks of seven or more games in a single season was the San Jose Sharks in the 2010-11 season (two separate seven-game streaks, Jan. 15, 2011-Mar. 3, 2011 and Mar. 17, 2011-Apr. 9, 2011).

-Corey Perry scored the GWG last night, his league-leading eighth game-winner of the season…according to the Elias Sports Bureau, Perry’s goal at 4:58 of OT was the latest overtime winner by a Duck since Nov. 17, 1995, when Peter Douris scored with one second remaining in a 2-1 win over the Islanders...since the start of the 2010-11 season, Perry has scored 30 GWG, leading the NHL in that span (six more than anyone else in the NHL, TB’s Stamkos has 24)...on Jan. 5 vs. VAN, Perry scored his fifth career OT goal to move into a tie for second place on the franchise’s all-time list for OT goals with Ryan Getzlaf and Scott Niedermayer... Perry’s 23 goals through 44 games this season are the most in his career (previously 21 in 2007-08 and 2010-11)...he had a career-best seven-game goal streak (8-2=10) from Nov. 29-Dec. 11, the longest streak in the NHL since CGY's Curtis Glencross scored in seven straight from Feb. 27-Mar. 11, 2012...in addition, Perry ranks fourth in the NHL in goals with 183 tallies since the start of 2008-09, spanning six seasons (Ovechkin, 237; Stamkos, 222; Marleau, 184)...Perry has 11-9=20 points in his last 19 games and 18-17=35 in 34…he ranks tied for fourth in the NHL in goals and tied for ninth in points.

-Currently ranked fifth among NHL goaltenders in wins, Jonas Hiller owns a club-record 11 straight victories (11-0-0) to become the first NHL goaltender to win 11 consecutive starts since PHX's Mike Smith won 11 from Feb. 4-28, 2012...Hiller was named the NHL's Third Star of December after finishing the month leading the league in wins (9-0-1), while also posting a 1.96 GAA and .929 SV% in 10 games...meanwhile, rookie Frederik Andersen became just the third goaltender in NHL history to earn nine wins in his first 10 starts, joining Frank Brimsek (9-1-0, Nov. 3-Dec. 20, 1938) and Bob Froese (9-0-1, Jan. 8-Feb. 2, 1983) (courtesy ESB).

-Anaheim has won six of their last seven road games (6-1-0) and earned points in seven of the last eight (6-1-1)...with a 14-8-3 road record, Anaheim co-leads the NHL in road points (31) and wins...Anaheim has played 61% of its road schedule with a league-tying 25 games and has completed travel to the Eastern Time Zone for the season...in addition, the Ducks have only four games in the Central Time Zone (Jan. 9 at NSH, Jan. 17 at CHI, Jan. 18 at STL, Feb. 8 at NSH) of the 16 remaining on the road schedule.

-The three California teams in the NHL continue to lead the charge in the Pacific...Anaheim, San Jose and Los Angeles account for the first, fifth and eighth best teams (by points) in the NHL…the three California teams combine for a 84-31-15 record in 2013-14 for a .704 win (points) percentage…at home, the three clubs have combined for a 46-6-7 record over 59 contests in California for an .839 win (points) percentage.

-In addition to being 18-3-4 when scoring the first goal, the Ducks are a league-best 13-5-1 when their opponent scores first...San Jose (9-8-1) and Boston (9-8-1) are the only other NHL teams .500-or-better when allowing the first goal.

-Andrew Cogliano, who signed a four-year contract extension on Jan. 4, is the fifth player in NHL history and first since Doug Jarvis to play 500 straight games from the start of his NHL career (ESB)....Cogliano has not missed a game since his NHL debut with Edmonton on Oct. 4, 2007 and ranks third on the NHL’s active Ironman list with 502 games, behind only STL's Jay Bouwmeester at 677 and VAN’s Henrik Sedin at 673...Jarvis is the NHL's all-time Ironman with 964 consecutive games played from 1975-88.
