POWER PLAYER AUDITIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Back to the audition page
Do I need to have skating experience to audition?
Skating experience is not required, but it certainly can work to your advantage. Skating ability increases your scheduling opportunities as an ice girl in addition to our in-stands promotion roles and outside appearance events. Every season we hire new candidates that do not have skating experience, and the majority of them eventually become confident skaters. We hope that all candidates will have the drive and desire to learn and get on the ice by the end of the season.
What should I wear to the audition?
Black yoga/workout pants and white tank top or athletic bra top.
What do I need to bring to the auditions?
Hockey skates (Anaheim Ice will provide if you don’t own a pair)
Snacks (there may be a waiting period and the snack bar will be open at Anaheim Ice)
Current photo
Completed application and other documents that you printed from the website
