SEAN SKAHAN Prior to working with the Ducks, Skahan was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Boston College for the 2001-02 season. In 2000-01, he was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of North Dakota. While earning his Master's degree in Kinesiology, the Massachusetts native worked as a graduate assistant strength coach at the University of Minnesota from 1999-00. He earned his bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in 1998. Skahan also holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.) and USA Weightlifting. He is also certified as a Certified Kettlebell Movement Specialist (CK-FMS). This past off-season, Sean was a featured speaker at Strength and Conditioning conferences in Boston, Germany, and Canada. Sean and his wife, Hillary, have two sons: Will and Wyatt. The family resides in Anaheim Hills. |
