Vice President of Sales & Chief Revenue Officer
Prior to his time with the Ducks, Viola spent eight years with the Chicago Bulls and United Center. He was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Sales in January 2012. He oversaw revenue, pricing and execution of all corporate partnerships, premium seating and game operations. He was the point person and lead negotiator on the United Center naming rights renewal and the Lexus Club Level partnership. Viola also led United Center/Bulls Corporate Partnerships and United Center Premium Seating to their highest revenue levels in the history of the organization. He was instrumental in securing significant corporate support for Chicago Bulls Charities and the work they do in the community. He previously held the position of Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Bulls/United Center.
Before joining the Bulls and United Center, Viola was Chief Operating Officer of Gameday Giveaway, a national sports marketing company. Prior to that, he spent many years in broadcast advertising sales and management in New York and Chicago.
John was on the board of Chicago Bulls Charities and graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Rhetoric and Communication Studies. He and his wife, Mylinda, have three children and reside in Corona Del Mar.
