PERSONAL: Single…spends his off-seasons in Hermosa Beach…received his time with the Stanley Cup in late August where he brought it to his hometown of Kanata, Ontario…held a public celebration, where fans were able to take pictures with him and the Cup, while also raising money for charity…also took it to the Ottawa Children’s Hospital…other stops included a visit with the Prime Minister of Canada, his grandmother at St. Patrick’s Home and just enjoying it at home with his closest family and friends…worked as a landscaper for his first job, laying sod, which lasted roughly four days…his favorite restaurants include Koi and Houston’s …while injured with Boston, did some pre- and post-game TV host work on NESN…has been involved in numerous charities throughout his career and enjoys working with the Boys and Girls Club.
