Personal: His wife’s name is Jessica…the two met in Philadelphia at a restaurant following a last-minute media appearance Joe agreed to do with hockey announcer Bill Clement…greeted the Stanley Cup at Halifax airport in early August…celebrated with children at Halifax’s IWK Health Centre, where he posed for pictures and signed autographs…also brought the Cup to his grandmother’s retirement home…was the main attraction in a parade in his honor, where hundreds of Cole Harbor natives showed up to cheer him on…the Premier of Nova Scotia and Mayor of Halifax attended the event as well…continued by celebrating with his family and friends at a private gathering…maintains a very strict nutritional regimen during the season, eating four balanced meals a day, staying within two pounds of a pre-determined playing weight…enjoys televisions shows, The Office and Family Guy …got his first job at the age of 18, mowing lawns with a push mower eight hours a day for a property rental company.
