PERSONAL:
Resides in Corona del Mar during the season…married his wife, Katarina, last summer…the couple has one son, Max, and is expecting their first daughter this December…spends his offseason in his hometown of Bratislava, Slovakia…this past summer, he enjoyed taking part in the process of building his own home in Bratislava and enjoyed spending time with his two-year-old child…has one older brother who also played hockey…lists his favorite player growing up as Paul Coffey…was a member of the Slovakian military before joining the NHL…enjoys many different genres of music depending on his mood, ranging from disco to country and rock…lists D.J. Tiesto and Bryan Adams as his favorite artists.
