2012-13: Appeared in his fifth NHL season, his first with Anaheim…split the year with Anaheim and Pittsburgh, earning 0-10=10 points with a +4 rating and 29 PIM in 35 games…began the season with the Penguins before being acquired by the Ducks in exchange for a fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft on Feb. 6, 2013…ranked tied for second among Anaheim defensemen in assists and fourth in scoring…earned his 10th assist of the season on Apr. 25 @ VAN, the second-highest total in his career…established a career high with 22:17 TOI, Apr. 17 vs. CBJ…matched his career best (second time) with a +3 rating in a 5-2 victory, Apr. 3 vs. DAL…posted a two-game assist streak (0-2=2) from Mar. 2-4, tying his career high (second time)…registered his first two points as a Duck (0-2=2) on Feb. 12 @ CHI, marking the second multi-point game of his career…appeared in his 100th career NHL game in a 6-5 Anaheim win, Feb. 9 @ STL…made his Ducks debut on Feb. 8 @ DAL, leading the club with four shots on net in 16:20 TOI…made his first three appearances of the season with Pittsburgh, going scoreless.

CAREER: Signed a three-year contract extension through 2015-16, June 27, 2013...Acquired by the Ducks in exchange for a fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft on Feb. 6, 2013...Signed as a free agent by Pittsburgh on July 8, 2008, Lovejoy has appeared in five NHL seasons with the Penguins and Ducks. In 130 career NHL games, he has earned 4-31=35 points with a +26 rating and 92 PIM. Lovejoy set numerous career highs with Pittsburgh in 2010-11, including goals (3), assists (14), points (17), plus/minus (+11) and games played (47). He has also played 16 career Stanley Cup Playoff games, scoring 0-4=4 points with four PIM.

A native of Concord, New Hampshire, Lovejoy played four seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL) with Norfolk (2006-07) and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (2007-10) after signing his original AHL contract on July 7, 2007. In 218 career AHL games, Lovejoy recorded 18-62=80 points with a +57 rating and 245 PIM between the Admirals and AHL Penguins. He also made appearances in the Calder Cup Playoffs, including a trip to the Calder Cup Final in 2008. Lovejoy appeared in 37 career Calder Cup Playoff games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, scoring 3-11=14 points with a +3 rating and 34 PIM.
