Made his North American debut with Norfolk (AHL) in 2012-13, going 24-18-1 with four shutouts, a 2.19 GAA and .929 SV% in 47 appearances…ranked sixth among AHL goaltenders in GAA (third among rookies), second in SV% (first among rookies) and tied for ninth in wins (second among rookies)…won six consecutive starts from Jan. 25-Mar. 1, recording a 1.31 GAA and .954 SV% with two shutouts…led AHL goaltenders with five assists, setting a Norfolk single-season franchise record…was recalled to Anaheim on Jan. 15 and served as Jonas Hiller’s backup for the team’s season opener on Jan. 19 @ VAN…was reassigned to Norfolk on Jan. 20…also represented Denmark at the 2014 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Vojens, Denmark, going 1-1 while leading all Group F goaltenders in GAA (1.01) and SV% (.960)…appeared in 39 games for Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League in 2011-12, posting a 24-14 record with eight shutouts, a 1.67 GAA and .941 SV%…his eight shutouts established a franchise record, surpassing Henrik Lundqvist’s previous mark of seven set in 2003-04…also led the club in GAA and SV%, en route to being named a finalist for the league’s 2011-12 Rookie of the Year award…appeared in six playoff games with Frolunda, going 2-4 with a 2.69 GAA and .911 SV%…posted a 2.37 GAA and 10 shutouts in 88 games over three seasons in Denmark’s top league…in 2010-11, ranked fourth among league goaltenders in GAA (2.49) and SV% (.920) in 36 games for Frederikshavn…also appeared in 11 postseason games, compiling a 2.34 GAA and .939 SV%…ranked second among league netminders in playoff GAA and third in playoff SV% in 2011…has represented Denmark at the last four IIHF World Championships in Finland/Sweden (2012), Slovakia (2011), Germany (2010) and Switzerland (2009)…was 1-5 with a 3.34 GAA and .888 SV% in six games in 2012, including a 35-save shutout in a 2-0 win over Latvia…went 0-2 with a 3.41 GAA and .910 SV% at the 2011 tournament…made his debut with the men’s team at the 2010 World Championship, going 1-1 with a 36-save effort in a 4-1 upset victory against Finland…was also named to the men’s team for the 2009 tournament, but did not see action…was a member of the Danish team at the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championship in the Czech Republic…was originally selected by Carolina in the seventh round (187th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
