Finished his junior season with 19-25=44 points in 35 games with Northeastern (Hockey East) in 2014-15…led the team in goals, points and plus/minus (+12), and co-led in assists…was a Hobey Baker Award candidate for the second consecutive season…matched a Hockey East career high in goals…paced the nation with 17 points during the month of February and was named the Hockey Commissioners’ Association National Division I Player of the Month…in 2013-14, was named to the Hockey East Second All-Star Team and a Hobey Baker Award candidate in his sophomore season with Northeastern …appeared in 37 games, tying for 12th in the nation with 19-27=46 points…set collegiate career highs in goals, assists and points…posted a career-long seven-game point streak (1-6=7), Dec. 30-Jan. 24…was named the national Player of the Month in October, recording 7-5=12 points in six games…in his freshman season with Northeastern in 2012-13, collected 17-17=34 points and 24 PIM in 29 games…was one of three unanimous selections to the 2012-13 Pro Ambitions Hockey East All-Rookie team…ranked tied for 11th in the conference in scoring, tied for fourth in goals and second in rookie scoring…among NCAA freshmen, finished tied for third in scoring…recorded 10 multi-point games, including a five-point performance on Dec. 29, 2012 against Harvard (1-4=5)…named MVP of the 61st annual Beanpot Tournament after scoring five goals (5-0=5) in two tournament games, including his first career hat trick in a 3-2 victory over Boston University on Feb. 4…receieved Hockey East’s Rookie of the Week honors on Oct. 15 and Jan. 2, Player of the Week on Feb. 11, and was named Rookie of the Month for December…in 2011-12, was the USHL Player of the Year after becoming the first player in the league’s current format (since 2002) to score 50 goals…led the USHL in scoring (54-50=104) and plus/minus (+44), and ranked second in PPG (14) and GWG (7).
