GAME: Anaheim Mighty Ducks (31-20-12) at Detroit Red Wings (44-15-5).

TIME: Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. EST.

The Detroit Red Wings have the Western Conference's highest point total, a three-game win streak and a lot of confidence.

"Everyone's playing at the top of their game right now and we feel like we have the puck all the time," Red Wings defenseman Mathieu Schneider said. "We feel like we are going to win every single night. It's a good feeling to have."

The Red Wings, winners of 11 of 13, seek to keep rolling when they host the surging Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

Detroit is coming off a home-and-home sweep of the West's worst team, the Chicago Blackhawks, and is four points ahead of Dallas for the best record in the conference.

The Red Wings have a 56-34 scoring advantage in their last 13 games.

"It's been a lot of fun, obviously, playing on this team and with this organization," said Schneider, who had a goal and two assists in Sunday's 5-3 win at Chicago. "Everything feels so easy right now, everything is rolling."

Pavel Datsyuk also had a goal and two assists Sunday. He fed Henrik Zetterberg for a power-play goal to give Detroit a 4-3 lead with 16:20 to play.

Datsyuk has a point in each of his last 10 games, totaling 18 in that stretch, and center Robert Lang has six points in his last five games.

Brendan Shanahan scored his 30th goal on Sunday, becoming the 10th player to reach the mark in 12 seasons.

Even defenseman Cory Cross scored in his Red Wings debut Sunday. Cross has scored three goals this season to increase his 12-season career total to 34.

"I was open, and when you're open with these guys, they'll find you," said Cross, acquired from Pittsburgh on Thursday. "You can read my stats and I'm not a goal scorer. The last thing I thought was I'm going to score on my first shift in a Red Wings uniform."

The Mighty Ducks, scrapping for a playoff spot, have won three straight and six of eight. They have recorded at least one point in five consecutive games since a 2-0 home loss to the Red Wings on March 1.

A four-goal third period lifted the Ducks to a 5-2 home win over the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday.

"We got down early but found a way to claw back," Anaheim coach Randy Coyle said. "The one thing that this group has demonstrated all year is resiliency."

Ryan Getzlaf, Rob Niedermayer, Scott Niedermayer and Teemu Selanne each had two assists and Anaheim had five different scorers. Ilya Bryzgalov made 20 saves in his first appearance since Feb. 10.

Scott Niedermayer's two assists gave him 41, setting a single-season franchise record for defensemen and surpassing Frederick Olausson's mark of 40 from the 1998-99 season. He has two assists in each of his last three games and at least one in his last five.

Selanne also has a five-game points streak.
